Burning Rubber explores issues that relate to art, mark making, rural culture, gender, music, and self-expression. As a 52-minute documentary that is accessible to both artists and non-artists, it offers great potential to start and challenge discussions in a variety of classes ranging from art to anthropology.

Please contact us at info@burningrubber.ca if you’re interested in incorporating Burning Rubber into your curriculum, or if you’d like to organize a screening for your class or educational institution. The director, Ariella Pahlke, may also be available to lead a discussion in your classroom, and to talk about the filmmaking process.

More information will be posted on this page in the future, with sample study guide questions to use in conjunction with a screening.
